Kaleidoscopes

Making kaleidoscopes is one our my small passion projects. I am always trying to improve the design of my assembly and make them simpler to build. I sell these as kits or completed kaleidoscopes in both a two mirror and three mirror design.

The Process

These kaleidoscopes are made from walnut, acrylic, and printed wood composite. They are each laser cut/engraved, then assembled by hand using a tab and slot design. There are two primary styles of scopes – a glitter want style and a disk style – both allow for interchangeable disks/wands to allow a wide variety of image options.
